Gig-rig AUDIO connections

The GIG-RIG AUDIO connections all are really straight forward. I have two high-quality Sennheiser MD441 dynamic microphones for use with my acoustic saxes and for any other purpose on a gig, like annoucements, vibraphone, etc. To add some effects to the microphones their mono signal is sent to the Digitech Studio S100 effects processor through AUX SEND 1, the stereo signal returns to AUX RETURN 1/2.
The stereo signals from the two VL70-m's are fed to stereo channels 5/6 and 7/8. The Alesis S4+ has two stereo outputs (MAIN & AUX). They are fed to stereo channels 9/10 and 11/12. The MIX programs of the Alesis can be set-up in a way that each sound can be directed to one of the two outputs, giving you an easy way of mixing signals. I use these to separate backing tracks and solo/melody sounds.
None of the three synths use the effects processor since they all have built-in effects.

This set-up leaves the two stereo inputs (channels 13/14 and 15/16) free to use for other outboard equipment, like the digital piano of our piano player.

The MAIN Output signals of the Samson PL1602 mixer are fed to two Voice Systems Shark 10 active monitors/speakers. When connected to the Home Studio these signals will go to the Home Studio mixer.
